The Relentless Content Machine

You'll often here me talk about the 'hungry content machine' – that beast that demands so much of our time and attention.

 

The world of advertising has changed.

 

There aren’t many companies that have the time for long drawn out campaigns any more. The world consumes information in a different way and there’s a constant demand for content – whether that’s a witty caption, a striking image, a useful or thought-provoking blog or video, an animation and more.

 

But more than ever before, we have a level playing field. Small companies are unlikely to have dedicated marketing or social media teams whose sole job it is to come up with content. But they do have the platforms for it – they are more likely to have a personal connection with their audiences and they can plan well-thought out content calendars that needn’t take up too much of their time.

 

With each post you’re investing in your business and your website.

 

Unlike advertising, a blog post remains on your site forever and in most instances the post attracts more traffic over time.
